Performs a variety of baking duties and assists with the preparation of breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, pies, cakes, doughnuts, biscuits, and other pastries. Ensuring that the daily bakery range is made in a timely, safe and consistent manner so as to ensure quality of products meet established standards.
- Monitoring the ovens.
- Able to work according to tight production schedules.
- Taking the bread out of the tins.
- Baking, icing and decorating cakes.
- Cleans and maintains work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

- Making sure freshly baked food is available for customers.
- Cleaning bakery machinery, equipment, storage and preparation areas.
- Keeping the bakery area safe for staff and customers alike.
- Accurately following recipe formulas and weighing ingredients.
- Cleaning areas after use.
- Wrapping and packing bread after it has been made.
- Position requires: a) Preparing breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, pies, cakes, doughnuts, biscuits and other pastries according to established recipes; b) preparing and placing various toppings on specialty baked items; c) cleaning and maintaining work area, utensils and equipment; d) detecting and ensuring disposition of spoiled food, and/or other unusual conditions; e) reviewing and completing production sheets;
