This position is partly funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Contribution.

Eligibility: Between 15 and 30 years of age. Legally entitled to work in Canada (which means you must have a valid Social Insurance Number).

Term: ASAP until end of August (ideally continue either full time or part time into the fall).

Shifts: Monday to Friday 700 am to 1 pm.

Compensation: $20/hr + tip pooling

Who are we looking for? Someone with baking and cafe experience, or someone who is wanting to start a career in this area. Preference will be given to people that have Level 1 Food Safe (although we will pay for this training if you do not possess it). Ideally you have a driver's license (and have access to a vehicle).

Duties: Learning to bake; baking; prep-cooking; cleaning & dish washing; helping the front during rushes (baristas).

*Tip pooling: To date, tips average around $7 extra an hour; however, this is not guaranteed. Tips are pooled and spread between all staff (not owners) and are paid out with your bi-weekly payroll.
