Duties

• Administrative assistance to Business Development Manager 
• Updating and review of internal systems. 
• Client communication and correspondences
• Organizing upcoming procurement documents and deadlines. 
• Assisting BD Team in the administrative portion of bid preparations.
• Review and monitor all procurement and supplier websites for open tender opportunities, closing dates, and award notices. 
• Generates quarterly and monthly reporting for specific agencies as requested. 
• Data entry and maintenance in internal systems. 
• Flexible full-time hours: Some overtime required in peak procurement seasons. 
• Other duties as assigned by the Business Development Manager. 

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and working with people. 
• Above average written and verbal communication skills.
• Above average attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated competency in adaptability/flexibility, planning, and self-initiative. 
• Demonstrate accountability, dependency, and willingness to learn. 
• Strong team-oriented focus and interpersonal skills. 
• Minimum Grade 12 education. Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred. 
• Able to work under pressure and meet set deadlines.
• Willing to travel (Annual tradeshows, conferences, community events)
• Must be proficient on computer software such as Windows, Publisher, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
