Would you like to get exposed to another one of NWT’s diamond mines? We are recruiting for a Camp Attendant to work at Snap Lake from March - October on a 2x2 rotation on Thursdays.

The position requires you to prepare breakfast for 20-30 people and complete daily housekeeping and janitorial tasks. It's the perfect job for someone that likes to try different things. Cooking experience required.

It's a great opportunity to work closely with a Chef and see a camp on a different scale. After the successful completion of the term you would return to your same or similar position.

Position Requirements

· Ability to work 12 hour days in a fast paced environment.

· Exceptional customer service skills.

·Ability to follow supervisor’s instructions promptly and completely, while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

·Be a self-motivated and energetic person looking to make a difference.

Besides the above, preference will be given to candidates who possess the following:

·1-2 years related experience in the Food Service, Janitorial, Housekeeping or Hospitality industries.

·Knowledge of the safe and efficient operation of all equipment in either the Food Service, Janitorial, and/or Housekeeping area of operations.

·Familiarity with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

·Current WHMIS and Level 1 Food Safe certificates.

·Understanding of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals in the Food Service area of operation, and understanding of the safety precautions necessary while using these products.
