The successful candidate will be community minded in order to assist with the continued growth of the Club and its membership. They will have a proven customer service and/or managerial experience with strong communication skills. They will be able to work independently and take initiative to advance the interests of the YKCC.
The Manager of the YKCC will be a salaried position with part-time (25hrs max per week) responsibilities during the curling season, and as needed during the off-season.
The Manager will report to the Board of Directors and will be available to work flex hours as required to provide ongoing services to the membership during the peak times of the year.
Duties include but are not limited to:
General Club administration
Accounting Duties and Budget Management
Bar and Concession Assistance
Scheduling of bar staff and contractors
Club Promotion and Marketing
Social Media Management
3 to 4 years managerial experience
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational development and planning skills
Experience in managing staff.
Experience in event management
Budget planning and cash management
Computer skills - Advanced proficiency in MS Windows/MS Office and bookkeeping skills which includes the use of Accounting Software (Sage Accounting)
