Duties

The Finance Director is an integral part of the YKDFN finance team to ensure that historical and forward-looking financial information is accurate, and clearly communicated to key stakeholders and will be responsible for the management of financial administration in accordance to YKDFN Finance Policies and general accounting principles and practices.  This position is located in Dettah.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have post-secondary education as a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, coupled with five (5) years of direct related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education, and/or training with a minimum of eight (8) years of direct related work experience, will be considered, and in a senior management position with relevant training.  A valid Class 5 Drivers License are requirements as this position will commute between the communities of Dettah, Ndilo and the City of Yellowknife.
