• As a Structured Wiring technician, you would be responsible to wire commercial and residential multi dwelling units with fiber optic cables or Cat 5/cat6 type wiring.
• Implement wiring designs based on provided technical designs, proactively problem solving if path(s) is not available
• Exterior and interior wiring may be required
• Working as a team of two (2) within remote communities in NWT
• Following industry standards using material standard to the customer

Skills / Qualifications:

• Ability to travel locally Monday through Friday
• Knowledge of Telcom wiring product and best practice
• Ability to work inside and outside in the elements
• Comfortable working in confines spaces
• Comfortable working on lift equipment/elevations
• Confines space training an asset
• Proactive problem solver with strong listening skills
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Structured wiring standards knowledge an asset
• Previous experience in inside wiring an asset
• Willing to train the right candidate!
