PHILIPPINE CUISINE goes on sale in front of the Abe Miller Building (4912 53rd St.) during the 2019 Farmers Market season (Tuesdays from June 4 to Sept. 17). Skills Training Facilitator Lian Vilan will lead YKACL clients through the steps to create Lumpia and Pansit (Filipino-style fried egg rolls and fried noodles with veggies). Beats Dance Society is hosting a Chase the Ace draw every Friday evening at the Monkey Tree Pub on Range Lake Road.  Tickets are $5 each and are sold from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm with the draw being held by 8:45 pm.  Current jackpot is over $6,000.   The Beats Dance Society raises funds to support members of the Bella Beats Dance Troupe, dancers aged 8 to 18, attend competitions, conventions and workshops each year.
